My Book Shelf

If you know me at all, you'd know that I love reading.  Any book that comes into my possession, be it adventure, a classic, fantasy, inspirational, educational (if written in an interesting way!) will be read cover to cover.

Here is a list of books that I want to read, in no particular order... I'll update the list when I start reading a book and also when I finish.  I'm including books that I've read since the school year started, but mandatory school books, unless fabulously interesting, are banned from my list!!

I AM RE-STARTING THIS LIST AS OF DECEMBER 2, 2012, IN HONOR OF THE NEW (LITURGICAL) YEAR!

(Want to find out more about a book on my list?  Have a suggestion for me?  I'd love to hear it!  Comment below and I'll try to find the book!)

  1. Jesus of Nazareth, The Spirit of the Liturgy & The Story of a Soul.

Those three books are definitely worth getting your hands on... One tells you who Jesus is, another what the Mass is, and the third about how you fit into that picture... but that's just my opinion.

  2. Thanks for the suggestions! I actually started Story of a Soul once, but didn't get through it. I will put these on my list!

  3. I LOVE THE HOBBIT AND THE LORD OF THE RINGS!!! Unlike many/most school books I just couldn't put it down once I started reading. A lot of good books are ruined for me by having them in school.
After you read the Hobbit you have got to read... um what is it called... the fellowship of the ring, the two towers and the other one. Sorry I'm too lazy to Google Search. how horrid of me. Sorry :)
5 star ratings for those, and 4 star ratings for the movies.

  4. Actually I've already read the Lord of the Rings trilogy! And seen the movies.... The Hobbit was one of the few movies I've seen before I read the book. I've enjoyed them a lot, and The Hobbit is good so far!
